“Understanding Corrections and Education” Activity on Campus of Colégio Mateus Ricci (2020-11-19)

The Correctional Services Bureau and the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau organize the “Understanding Corrections and Education” campus activity to step up the education of youngsters on crime prevention knowledge and the serious consequences of crimes. Featuring an interactive Q&A on crime prevention, video screeningandexplanations of youth-related legal knowledge, the activity aims to raise young people’s law-abidingness and introduce to them the correctional services in Macao. On 19 November, the “Understanding Corrections and Education”activity was held on the campus of Colégio Mateus Ricci, where several members of our staff interacted with approximately 150 senior primary students.

 

The Bureau will continue to hold the “Understanding Corrections and Education” activity on campuses of more local secondary and primary schools to strengthen communication with students, publicize crime prevention-related information, enhance youngsters’ law-abidingness, as well as promote correctional services and the message of support to offender rehabilitation.

 


On 19 November, the “Understanding Corrections and Education” activity was held on the campus of Colégio Mateus Ricci, promoting correctional services and the message of crime prevention.
