Attending Hong Kong Correctional Services Department’s “Conference 2017 – Evolution of Corrections” (2017-07-19, 2017-07-20)

A six-member Correctional Services Bureau delegation, led by Director Cheng Fong Meng, visited Hong Kong on 19 to 20 July to attend the “Conference 2017” hosted by the Correctional Services Department. During the conference, the delegates listened to keynote speeches covering a variety of topics surrounding the “Evolution of Corrections” delivered by scholars and fellow correctional professionals from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas, and an announcement of study findings, learning from the latest theories and the valuable experiences. Our delegation also attended a number of corrections-themed seminars and workshops, exploring the challenges and development of correctional work with our fellow participants from other places.
