Prison Guard Events

Correctional Services Bureau Participates in 7th Asian Prisons Lockdown Challenge

The 7th Asian Prisons Lockdown Challenge (APLC) had four events: “Sharpshooter”, “Team Obstacles”, “Operation Tech-Secure” and “Rescue & Restore”.

Sharpshooter

This event aimed to test participants’ marksmanship. Teams had to demonstrate their expertise by engaging multiple types of targets with speed and accuracy.

Team Obstacles

Teams were required to navigate through an intensive obstacle course where success hinged on seamless teamwork. Participants needed to work together to complete the course as quickly and efficiently as possible, testing their strength, agility, and coordination.

Operation Tech-Secure

Teams had to demonstrate mastery over the art of surveillance and tactical coordination in this strategic mission – a designated operator managed advanced monitoring systems to gather critical intelligence, while the rest of the team members executed precise ground operations.

Rescue & Restore

Teams had to navigate through three demanding scenarios that escalated in complexity – executing precise pepper spray deployment under controlled conditions, conducting time-critical hostage extraction from a simulated fire zone, and engaging multiple targets efficiently with pump action shotguns.
