The “Kai Pou” is a periodical published by Coloane Prison featuring information of the Prison and the society, with its readership mainly comprising inmates. Its objective is to update inmates on relevant information and news of the society, despite their being in prison.

 

Inmates take part in the main work procedures concerning the publication of the “Kai Pou”, including editing, proofreading, layout design, printing and binding. Certain contents of the “Kai Pou” are penned by inmates themselves.
