Arrangement on Service Upon Typhoon Signal is Hoisted
When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is in effect, Coloane Prison, the Youth Correctional Institution and the Correctional Services Bureau Service and Information Centre under the Correctional Services Bureau will suspend all visitations and public services.
After Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered, the Correctional Services Bureau will resume visitations and public services according to the following arrangements:
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered before 07:30am, visitations and public services will be available as usual during normal office hours.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered during 07:30am to 09:00am, visitations and public services will resume one hour and 30 minutes after the signal is lowered.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered during 09:00am to 01:00pm, visitations and public services will resume in the afternoon.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered during 01:00pm to 02:30pm, visitations and public services will resume one hour and 30 minutes after the signal is lowered.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered after 02:30pm, visitations and public services will not be available in the afternoon.
