Macao Prison participates in the 4th "Asian Prisons Lockdown Challenge"
Individual Event
The individual event was aimed at testing participants’ physical fitness, stamina and professional skills. Participants were required to complete a series of challenges, such as running while shouldering a 45-kg dummy, precision shooting and obstacle course. The participant who completed the all the challenges with the shortest amount of time would be the winner.
Team Events
There were a total of three events –“The Marksmen”, “Search and Rescue” and “Operation ‘Man Down’”. In “The Marksmen”, teams were required to shoot at various targets within the shortest time possible, which served to test their speed and precision. In “Search and Rescue”, teams were required to, within the shortest time possible, conduct tactical deployment and strategic operation planning while memorizing the critical information presented in a dim environment, before proceeding to swiftly subdue antagonists, search for hostages and escort them to a designated safety zone.
