Young people are the future pillars and impetus of society. In line with the SAR Government’s youth policies that include encouraging young people to actively engage in social affairs and care about the community and creating an ideal environment to facilitate youngsters’ healthy development, the Correctional Services Bureau has launched a series of youth activities, such as field trips to correctional facilities, interactive experience activities, the “Youth vs. Youth” activities, youth forums, the “Understanding Corrections and Education” campus activities and the “Rebirth, Youth Connection” forums in the community. The activities are expected to effectively enhance the young participants’ awareness about corrections and the serious consequences of crimes, and are also used as a platform for spreading the message of support to offender rehabilitation in the community.
