To continuously raise public awareness and support toward the social rehabilitation of inmates and juvenile delinquents, on 30 May to 10 June, the Correctional Services Bureau will jointly hold an event titled “Heartfelt Words of Encouragement to Offenders” with the Macao Federation of Trade Unions, the Macao Federation of Neighborhood Associations, the Women’s General Association of Macau, the Aliança de Povo de Instituição de Macau and Caritas Macau. We invite all members of the public to participate in the event – which will be held on the Correctional Services Bureau’s Facebook Page – by writing a comment on the Page expressing support and encouragement toward inmates and juvenile delinquents in their self-reformation and social rehabilitation journey.

 

During the event period, participants can go to the Correctional Services Bureau’s Facebook Page and leave a short comment of encouraging words to inmates and juvenile delinquents under the event post, tag a friend to let him or her know about the event, and then like and share the post. Those who have completed the abovementioned steps are eligible for attractive prizes including shopping vouchers worth MOP 200. All members of the public are welcome to participate. The list of winners will be announced in June on the Correctional Services Bureau’s Facebook Page. Winners will each be notified by a member of our staff.
