Correctional Services Bureau Participates in 6th Asian Prisons Lockdown Challenge
The 6th Asian Prisons Lockdown Challenge had four events: “Team Obstacles”, “Sharpshooter”, “Search & Rescue” and “Mayhem in the Yard”.
Sharpshooter
Participating teams needed to shoot down different moving targets, a test of the teams’ shooting speed and precision.
Search & Rescue
Participating teams were required to find the right directions and search and rescue the hostages in an enclosed and hostile environment. The event served to test the teams’ operation planning and strategic deployment abilities.
Mayhem in the Yard
Participating teams were asked to quell a riot and evacuate the casualties to a safe place, during which the teams’ use of tactics and experiences were put to the test.
Team Obstacles
Participating teams had to complete a series of difficult obstacle challenges, e.g. climbing over an obstacle and weighted running. It took strength, stamina and team cooperation to complete each mission.
