Announcement of Prize Winners of Correctional Services Bureau’s “Heartfelt Words of Encouragement to Offenders” Event (2023-06-23)

To continuously raise public awareness and support toward the social rehabilitation of inmates and juvenile delinquents, the Correctional Services Bureau previously held an event titled “Heartfelt Words of Encouragement to Offenders” together with the Macao Federation of Trade Unions, the Macao Federation of Neighborhood Associations, the Women’s General Association of Macau, the Aliança de Povo de Instituição de Macau and Caritas Macau. The event has ended with success, with over 400 members of the public participating by leaving words of support and encouragement toward inmates and juvenile delinquents on Facebook.

On 21 June, the Correctional Services Bureau held a lucky draw, hosted by Director Cheng Fong Meng, to select 100 prize winners; the winners picked will each receive shopping vouchers worth MOP 200. The first 50 participants to have left a comment in compliance with the event rules and regulations were also announced; these 50 participants will each receive a souvenir. All prize winner lists have been uploaded to the Correctional Services Bureau’s website, WeChat Official Account and Facebook Page.
